Hello Chris,
My name is J.R. you did a search for me back in 2000 and found my birthmother for me.
Which worked out better than I could have dreamed. At that time you also gave me the current address of my birthfather but I still haven't worked up the nerve to contact him.

Well, let me get to the point of my email to you. I just recently referred my cousin to you K.S. and you also quickly found his bmother and I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for us.

I just wanted to give an update seeing as I haven't been in touch since I recieved this information. I called her and she was exstatic to hear from me. She cried and cried and I cried. She had told everyone in her family about me ever since they can remember. I have a half sister, and two half brothers. Ages 17, 19 and 20. The middle boy, DJ, wanted to come looking for me when I turned 18. I flew out there that weekend and met them all. It was awesome. Then my mom and sister came up a few weeks later and I met my grandmother, aunt and two uncles that live here. I also have an uncle in Florida. They met my adopted family and everyone loved everyone. It was like a big happy family reunion. We all still talk and I just love my new family. I've got a good relationship with them all and I LOVE finally having a sister.

Thanks for what you did for me! I am forever indebted to you.

Hi Chris, Have been meaning to email you for quite some time now. Will take the time to do so this morning. I am always telling my husband, when he tells me that he does not have the time, to 'take the time'. It really will work out.

Words will never express my gratitude to you for all that you did in helping my daughter to find me. I wish I had a copy of that telephone message and my responce to her that evening of June 22, 2004. Never in my life did I even consider the thought that we would ever be together again. I told her that 'what goes around comes around', and here we are. She and I have a lot of things to share with eachother and we are truly enjoying every moment. I do feel so blessed.

I know that she probably told you some of my present life. My husband was from the next small town to where I was living,in upstate New York. He knew my daughters father. We were among a group of young adults who worked weekdays and got together weekends, to dance and have good fun. My husband reentered my life while I was a stewardess for American Airlines, living in NYC. We were married in 1960. Three children made our life complete, but I never forgot the first one. Every year, on her birthday, I would wonder where she was, never dreaming that she was really 'just around the corner' from me. I truly believe that we were supposed to be back together sometime, that was the plan from the day that I gave her up for adoption. I shall never forget that heartwrenchining pain. I am so glad that I had already told my three children about her, although they have not met as yet. I know it will happen. It has not been easy for my oldest boy, especially, to allow my daughter to enter his life. And, he has had an influence with the other two, so far.

I understand that you, too, are a birthmother, and found your daughter. You are serving a wonderful cause by helping these people find eachother. Again, thank you for all that you did to help us.

Sincerely,

CC/NYS
