Hi,
Just wanted to drop a note about my reunion in July with my Birthmother and one of my two sisters. I flew them into Florida to visit us at our vacation home near DisneyWorld. We had a wonderful time. I talk to my Birthmother every week by phone.
I had looked for many years on my own even with the help of friends in various law enforcement agencies, I was unable to find my Birthmother. In such a short time, Kinsolving came through--I have already passed your website onto a few people I knew were looking.
A weight has been lifted, the unanswered is answered. I am no longer sad about the whole adoption and in the 5 months that I have known where my birthmother is, I have had no crying spells over it. It truly brings closure and the ability to go forward. I have also found a new and different appreciation for my adopted parents. No amount of money is too high for the relief this has brought.
Now, I am in search of Birthdad.....

Wanted to let you know I met my birthmother yesterday. See pic attached. It was absolutely wonderful. We met halfway for both of us. We are planning to go up to her home in Connecticut in August. Of her three children, her daughter is thrilled to death to have a sister, we talk on the phone and e-mail daily. I talk to my mother daily as well. The oldest child, a son, is not happy at all, so he needs more time. The middle boy hasn't been told yet because he's on vacation. Oh well, pretty happy ending I'd say. I bet you wish all of them were that way.

I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how things went with my big phone call to my birth mother. I called her after one week after getting the information from you and Kinsolving. I can't believe how smoothly the call went and how relieved I was when I found out she had wanted so much to find me!!! Thank you for all your advice on what to say and how to say it. I know
you were just in the hospital and it must have been a difficult time for you. But you really made me feel secure in how to go about the big phone
call.
We have talked many times since then and we even have met!! I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the key to my past.
Your company is doing wonderful things by matching up loved ones.

Dear Chris,
Just wanted to say thank you for finding my birthmother. It took another letter and pictures from me to E for her to get in touch with me, and the call came about six weeks after this letter. The conversation was very friendly and come to find out when I first called her she could not hear what I was saying and she thought I was a telemarketer. She apologized for the hang ups. She has since written me a long letter and shared info about my birthfamily (with pictures!). I know she is my birthmother because we look very much alike! We have spoken again and shared other notes since then and the conversation is very easy and nice. We hope to get together soon, but I am taking this very slow. We'll get there.
